Earlier this week, the girls and I attended Mindy Gledhill’s CD Release concert in Provo, UT. I already knew what to expect because we had been listening and dancing to Mindy’s new CD, “Anchor”, for a couple of days prior, and had no doubt we’d enjoy the live performance.
However, I did not expect to be entertained with the improvisational creative humor that we experienced with theThrillionaires, an improv comedy group, who “opened” for Mindy. I’ll be honest, I was a little nervous to learn that Mindy wouldn’t be performing until about an hour into the concert – mostly worried that the attention span of C8 and Ad wouldn’t last that long. Gratefully, I was pleasantly surprised. C8 watched and cheered with enthusiasm and Ad was in hysterics with the humor and animated acting of all the performers!
Later on during Mindy’s performance, she asked them to improvise a “music video” for her song “Crazy Love”. I hope it’s OK with the performers, but I couldn’t resist pulling out my Flip camera to capture just a hint of what we were entertained by that night! Ad’s maniacal laughter was just a bonus! ![]()
.
Needless to say, we will be attending their next performance on Monday, August 9th, at the Velour in Provo, UT.

The Thrillionaires were Madison’s favorite part of the evening I think! They were great!

Hahaha! I love this! I love your daughter’s laugh. And, I didn’t really get to see the Thrillionaires’ faces so this was great. Thanks for sharing. We’ll be there tomorrow night too, so hope to see you there!

One of the Thrillionaires worked in the mall so I’d always see him when I worked at Remedez. He would tell me about his shows but I never went! What a fool I was.

Thanks for posting the clip! As one of the Thrillionaires who wasn’t there that night, it was fun to see just a bit of what I missed.
