First Friday of June is always National Donut Day.
That’s today.
And I’m addicted to donuts.
You should know that. I’m not even going to redirect you to previous posts of mine proving it. I’ve had the same 6 readers for the past year. But if you happen to be new, and have mozied on over accidentally, and are curious, just click on “donuts” from my tag cloud down there at the bottom.
So, stop by Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kreme to claim your “FREE” donut today, in order to celebrate!
Or mozy on over to Pioneer Woman’s site for this deliciously tempting recipe to make your own circular pastry.
Speaking of treats, my kitchen will be busy tonight with sugar, flour, and definitely chocolate as I’m whipping up some mouth-watering, finger-lickin, not-so-good-for-you baked goods for a Bake Sale my sister is holding tomorrow!
She’s heading to El Salvador next week – for the next 3 months – to help fight poverty by teaching the people reliance skills. It’s all part of the HELP International program.
She’s still in need of a little extra moolah ($$) to help fund her stay. If you’re in or around Spanish Fork tomorrow, please stop by and purchase some yummy treats to help her out! I guarantee they’ll satisfy!
Bake Sale
Saturday, June 5th from 8:00am – 11:30am
Spanish Fork, UT

I personally love donuts myself!
I love crispy cremes.
I’m coming to Utah tomorrow, maybe I’ll try to find Spanish Forks…..whereever that is.

I have been meaning to tell you that I actually ate a donut on this day. We always get one when we head to Jack and Jill’s bowling…which they get them from another place, but I can’t remember the name.

I have noticed a distinct donut theme to your blog. And cupcakes. And I think I might be one of the 6 readers you talked about…..but I’m pretty sure you have more than 6. ;o)

I love love love good donuts I lived in Utah for sometime and truly believe that Banbury Cross Donuts on 7th east and 9th south is some of the most gourmet donuts I’ve had. There is a place here where I live now in Reno Nevada in the Damonte Ranch area called doughboys! They also have very supremely delicious dounuts !!! Yum yum!!
