Back to Work

by Camille on April 12, 2010

5 days off of work and today I’m back to the “ol’ grind stone”.  Although it’s so nice to take time off, sometimes it makes it hard to return to my regular full-time schedule.  Am I going to handle the 40 hrs/wk once again?  At least I’ll have the memories of our relaxin’ time to get me through…

We spent time with cousins bowling and driving motorcycles.

Hitched a ride on the “train” downtown to check out the sites (and purchase cupcakes from Lion House Pantry). Can you guess from which direction the train is coming?

Trax Utah

A Girls’ Only Night Out at Macaroni Grill to celebrate the birthday of favorite aunt and sister Jeanette.  Of course it required make up and lip gloss (according to Ad).

We visited the moon (and apparently found other lifeform).

Clark Planetarium

We also went swimming, overdosed on My Dough Girl cookies, stole a Bible, stared at homeless people, slept in, and gave piggy-back rides.

It was some very much needed rest and relaxation!

Speaking of a little R&R, random.org has decided the winner of Yoplait’s Greek yogurt and relaxation package is:

 Lauren!

Email me your address and you’ll have a box of happiness arrive on your doorstep!

It looks like you had such a great time. Sorry you have to go back to work.
I think anything remotely related to work should be banned. OK, work is good for you, but….so is playing with your cute kids.
The moon looked fun.

I’m glad you had time off to spend with your children! Sounds like you had fun and some parts sounds mysterious—stole a Bible? Stared at homeless people? My life sounds so boring now.

Is that white haired woman one of the homeless people you stared at? I know I’d stare at her if she was in front of me!

Yippee! Can’t wait to try out the new Yoplait Greek and pretend I’m on a spa vacay in Athens. :) Thanks Camille (and Yoplait!).

PS – Looks like your girls enjoyed the Planetarium! Did you have trouble ungluing them from the ball maze thing? I swear my kids could look at that for hours. Maybe we should get rid of our TV and just get one of those!
