I am a sucker for inspiration. Something that speaks to your inner-self and helps you define who you are and recognize your passion. Combine that with a local connection and I’m hooked!
Enter the r house Couture.
Let me give you a little background on the r house. Lindsey is a gorgeous brunette who started a blog to advocate adoption and connect with other couples struggling with infertility and hoping to adoption. Her blog has been inspired by her two beautiful boys who have joined her family through the adoption process and just recently, they’ve dealt with an awful lot of emotions and struggles fighting the court process to keep their youngest.
In an attempt to earn some money to help with the legal battle, and to share their passion for adoption, Lindsey and 2 of her friends Kim and Leisha masterminded the r house couture, an etsy shop full of inspiration in the form of gorgeous jewelry and childrens’ clothing.
Some of my favorites:
All sterling silver pieces, brilliant stones, and custom made verbiage, these are beautiful pieces of jewelry!
I was so excited to get to meet these 3 amazing women and hear about their stories! They share the same affinity for families, motherhood, birth mothers, and adoption. After meeting them through their blogs and in person, there is no question about their priorities and where their hearts lie. Simply amazing!
They made each of the Sassies our own custom necklace with stones of our choice.
This is the one I chose (pardon the poor picture quality. My camera desperately needs an upgrade!)

If this is the first time you’ve heard of the r house couture, go visit. Spend a little time looking at all the pictures, pendants, quotes, and ideas. You won’t want to leave and you’ll be inspired to start creating your own wish list of pendants!
By the way…. Shhh… don’t tell my mom or any other special women in my life, but I may or may not be shopping here for Mother’s Day!
