In case you’ve been living under a rock, this weekend is sure to be a *big* one for some.
Yes, I’m referring to the Olympic hopefuls!
What?
You thought I was referring to a holiday?…
Well, yes, it’s the holiday of the 2012 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada!
I don’t know why I get so excited. It’s not like I am an athlete myself. Or that I even enjoy the season of winter. Maybe it’s the patriotism that is felt through the uniting of countries coming together for the sake of athleticism.
Whatever the reason, here are some ways it’s being celebrated:
Torri from Peaceable Things is celebrating with pizza!
Lorie from Be Different Act Normal (love this website!) featured this great idea
My way to celebrate?
Eating these in mammoth proportions.
And bless their hearts, the Cocoa Bean has something for everyone!

Okay, those all look delicious except the Olympic rings made using fruit. Way too healthy for me! Didn’t realize this weekend was the start of the Olympics. We’ll have to come up with something fun!

Wow, for a second I was going to die of happiness that you were in my hometown, but then realized that they opened another store.
Interesting Olympic ideas to celebrate….all about food. Pretty sure those skaters ain’t eatin’ cupcakes or pizza. Probably haven’t eaten anything worthwhile in months. Poor things! Pass the parmesan….
