The next time you go in a for a hair cut, try something different!
Without divulging any information that would expose my true age, let me just say that ever since I returned home from my mission, I’ve had the same hairstyle: long.
Behold:
The only variations I’ve had with this long hairstyle have been the “lengths” of how long I let it grow.
So, I needed a difference in style. And, allow me to explain why I can’t go any shorter:
These are why my brothers so lovingly referred to me as “Mushroom Head” in my adolescent years; and left sketches of bodies, with exaggerated craniums, around the house. My hair is just too thick to do much with unless it’s being weighed down (and I’m sure that perm didn’t help much either).
But I needed a change. Something subtle. Do you recognize it?

Love those bangs! I also love that that is your natural color of hair! When I was 20, I was pulling out gray hairs. By the time I was your age, (10 years later) I was coloring the gray like crazy!

Ooooh, a little side swept bang action. You look fabulous! I’ve been thinking about trying that but haven’t been brave enough yet. And the last time I got it cut and asked for it, the stylist forgot. I have bad hair karma.
Also, are you really only 30? Because I’m older than that and not nearly as put together as you. Not fair.
